The new 2008 Dodge Dakota SXT takes the Dakota truck to the next level with 3.9 ltr Magnum V6 engine comes with a standard 5 speed manual or available 4 speed automatic transmission. The exterior of the new Dakota features body color wheel flares and grille with 16″ x 8″ cast aluminum wheels. For safety the new 2008 Dodge Dakota has power anchors and upper tether anchors for child seats, a front passenger air bag with an on/off switch that is not available on the Dakota Quad Cab and Next generation driver and front passenger air bags.
The new 2008 Dodge Dakota offers drivers new 4 wheel disc brakes with rear wheel ABS and Electronic Variable Brake Proportioning, Sentry Key Engine Immobilizer and side door beams. Also available is the Skid Plate Group on 4×4 Dakota models.
