SAN’s primary tool is information: SEMA’s Washington, D.C. staff monitors pending legislation, then broadcast news about those bills through its Web site (www.semasan.com), a monthly newsletter, and a-mail alerts sent directly to your inbox. These explain how each bill would impact you, directs action to be taken, and even gives you contact information so you don’t have to figure out where to send your message. SAN also helps draft laws on titling/registration, backyard restorations, and other pro-hobby issues.
